As well as the Dance School having a 100% pass rate for their exams since beginning them; we have also had a number of pupils move on to excellent successes within their own dancing careers.
Back in 2007, our first success was Grace, who at the age of 11 secured one of 12 places available at The Royal Ballet School in London. Here she is on a 5-year course studying with the Company who she one day wants to work with.
Our next successes came in threes. First there was Katrin, again age 11. She moved this September to Birmingham to train at the Elmhurst Ballet School - part of the Birmingham Royal Ballet company. Katrin was a pre-vocational pupil with Elmhurst before attending full-time school. Secondly was Amy, age 18. She also left in the summer of 2008 to go to Cambridge and study at Bodyworks. Here she is doing a vocational course in Performing Arts in order to get a well deserved job on a stage one day soon. Thirdly was Leanne, also 18. Leanne was accepted on a Musical Theatre course at East 15 in Essex; who again would like to work within the theatre and stage one day.
