Performances

The school has regular shows, dance competitions and dancing events both locally and nationally.
We help students to develop their performance skills by participating in dance competitions and dance festivals. Recent dance festivals include Boston, Grimsby, South Lincs Dance Festival and Grantham.

COMPETITIONS: Many pupils of the dance school have recently started competing in local dance competitions, performing around the county. Our first competition was at Boston in May 2006 where all pupils did extremely well with many coming 1^st place and winning medals and trophies.

Many pupils now participate in festivals on a regular basis; including Colsterworth Festival in February; Boston Festival in May; Peterborough Festival in July; South Lincs Dance Festival and Grantham Festival in October.

Participating in competitions allows pupils to experience performing on stage in front of an audience and having the opportunity to win medals. It helps to boost confidence and gives them a look at how the professional dance world works.
